Autodesk NETFABB ULTIMATE 2023 is a powerful 3D model design software that can help users easily design various models and effectively improve everyone’s work efficiency. Autodesk Netfabb Ultimate prepares files for 3D printing and converts them to 2.5D file slices, including layer 2D slice lists.
To help users prepare for printing, features for viewing, editing, repairing and analyzing STL 3D files or files cut in different formats based on slices. Preparatory activities are carried out in Netfabb to create part meshes using the file format STL. You can also get Autodesk Vault Professional Server 2023.
Autodesk Netfabb Ultimate 2023 New Features:
1. Simulation utility
1. New Processing Parameters (PRM) file:
- Additive Industries MetalFAB1 Inconel 718 40 µm.
- EOS Inconel 718 M290.
2. Increase the grid size limit of Simulation Utility LT
- The number of nodes increased from 500,000 to 5 million.
- Nodes are increased from 20million to 200million.

2. Local Simulation
1. Directional energy deposition compensation.
- Using source STL, it is now possible to simulate based compensation and deformation of DED geometry, a new example has been added to demonstrate Directed Energy Deposition compensation.
2. Input and output
- Two new cards have been added to allow viewing of simulation results on deformed or compensated STL:
- OVTK exported .vtk files during distort_stl, except the distorted .stl.
- AVTK works in conjunction with OVTK and outputs an ASCII-encoded .vtk file when distort_stl is executed.
3. Part-level powder bed modeling
- Two new cards have been created to improve homogenization of vertices with a large number of vertices:
- MNHV overrides the default maximum number of vertices to average.
- NSTP skips pseudorandom vertex reads during homogenization.
2023 New Features
1. Analysis
The measurement tool is now available for wall thickness analysis.
Updated analysis command dialog to use new forms (epithelium/subthelium, support volume, wall thickness)

- Added a console executable to start Netfabb, execute a Lua script, and terminate Netfabb on completion, while Possibly show application window less.
- Lua support for exporting parts with supported attachments: Add hassupport and support properties to LUATrayMesh object. The count property 3mfExporter is added to the object. Added the add method to the object. 3mfExporter adds 3mfExportEntry object.

3. CAD support
Support for Inventor files (IPT) is no longer automatically installed during Netfabb installation. Instead, you will now be prompted to install an extra software component the first time you try to import an IPT file after installing Netfabb.
4. GUI and Workflow

- Updated the Mesh Compare dialog to include settings management
- Added a Color Randomize command to the Edit menu category. Previously, it was only available through the various context menus of project tree items.
- Removed Fusion 360 ads
- Visibility of built-in and custom repair and support scripts can now toggled, and the order of custom scripts can now adjusted as well.
- Added option to rename parts during scaling, including scale factor. (If the factors along X, Y, and Z are not equal, their geometric mean is used.)
- As an alternative to moving a part by its local coordinate origin (front left bottom), the option to move by its single center has added
