Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2024 version is a leading electrical control system creation and modification solution! is AutoCAD software for control designers, specifically for creating and modifying electrical control systems. It includes all the functionality of AutoCAD, plus a comprehensive set of tools for automating control engineering tasks, such as building circuits, numbering wires, and creating bills of materials.
The program provides a library of more than 700,000 electrical symbols and components, includes real-time error checking, and enables electrical and mechanical teams to collaborate on digital prototypes built using Autodesk Inventor software. Electrical gives controls engineers a competitive advantage by helping save hours of effort so they can spend more time innovating.
Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2024 is one of the toolsets available in AutoCAD. This powerful AutoCAD add-in for electrical designers and engineers provides automatic drawing tools for designing wiring, circuits, PLC modules, panels, and data and schedules. This is on top of all the benefits that AutoCAD brings. This course provides novice users with the training they need to use AutoCAD Electrical quickly and effectively. You can also get Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2023 from LicensedSoft.

1. Signal arrow update
Now you can synchronize all source and destination arrows with the same signal code.
In earlier versions, when you updated the signal designation in one of the source arrows, the link between that source arrow and the other source or destination arrows would be broken.
Now, when you update the signal designation in one of the source arrows, all source and destination arrows with the same signal designation will be updated.
2. Copy the project
Duplicating an existing project is now a one-step process. This enhancement increases your productivity and efficiency compared to previous versions of the AutoCAD Electrical toolset.
In the Copy Project dialog box, select the Use selected project as template project option.
Specify a new project name and location.
Click OK.
The project is copied, including its supporting files.
3. CAT-MFG-ASSYCODE primary key system
In earlier releases, the Electrical BOM was generated in Vault using only the catalog number as the key. Using only the catalog number as a key can cause some problems if there are two symbols with the same catalog number but different manufacturer designators, or the same catalog number and manufacturer designator but different assembly designators.
In this release, AutoCAD Electrical introduces the CAT-MFG-ASSYCODE primary key system (Catalog Code + Manufacturer Code + Assembly Code) for Electrical BOMs in Vault. The CAT-MFG-ASSYCODE primary key system solves problems related to two symbols having the same primary key.
4. Quality improvement
Project Task List: Visibility settings for installation or location details are now implemented in IEC workflows.
Trimming Wires: Wire numbers are now cleared when trimming associated wires.
Panel Terminals: Ratings specified in the “Literal Value” field from the catalog database are now preserved in panel terminals.
Command Line: Accelerator keys now work with AEWIRE and AECABLEMARKER when clicking from the command line.
Components: CNT values are now synchronized between schematic and panel components.
System Variables: Values set in FILEDIA are no longer automatically changed to 0.
General: AutoCAD Electrical now launches properly after an update to localized versions of Microsoft Office.
5. Other enhancements
Insert Block: The Block Redefinition dialog provides an option to rename a block with the specified block name if it already exists in the drawing.
Options dialog: When trying to close or cancel the Options dialog, the new task dialog prompts you to save or discard changes.
Isolation Mode: Object selection now persists when exiting Isolation Mode.
New Drawing: When you hover the cursor over the New drop-down list on the Home tab, a tooltip appears with the name of the drawing template file that will be used.
Customer Error Reports (CER): Your email address is now auto-filled when an error report is generated.
Multi-Core Background Publishing: The “Include Hyperlinks” publishing option is now supported when publishing multi-page PDF files using the Background Publishing feature.
Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2024 New Functions:
1. More than 65,000 electrical symbols
Choose from an extensive library of easy-to-use, colorful, and customizable electrical symbols to use in your projects. If existing symbols do not meet your needs, you can use the Symbol Builder tool to convert symbols or create custom components on the fly.
2. Automation of wire and component marking
Save time with enhanced automation that allows automatic wire numbering and component tagging.
3. Automatic report
Streamline workflow and save time by automatically generating and updating multiple custom reports.
4. Support electrical standards
In addition to supporting the latest electrical standards, the Electrical toolset continues to provide JIC and legacy IEC symbol libraries for legacy support.
5. Easily manage projects
Increase productivity and simplify projects with the time-saving features of Project Manager. Relabel components, easily change files and access simple export options.
6. Circuit design and reuse
Simplify electrical design with Circuit Builder. Access prepopulated data to build and annotate samples of motor control and feeder circuits.
7. SQL directory support
Save time with SQL catalog database support. When generating a BOM in Autodesk Vault, data from the AutoCAD Electrical drawing is automatically added to the report, including details from the catalog database.
8. Coil and contact cross reference
Simplify projects by tracking primary/secondary contacts in real time as Circuit Builder dynamically compiles circuits, and assigning component tags to each component.
9. Generate PLC I/O graphs from spreadsheets
Speed up your workflow by generating multiple graphs from a single data file. Define your project’s I/O assignments and automatically generate PLC graphics from spreadsheets, databases, or comma-delimited text files.
